The stillness of the night was gone
And I awoke to a glorious dawn
The glory lay I know not where
And yet I was inclined to stare!
I hear the resonating sound of waves
Rhythmically beat upon the caves
Sending chirping birds soaring high
Above the clear turquoise sky
Trees, plants and flowers gleefully
Salute the earth with its sprightly
Spirit spreading colours so rich and gay
Eternal fragrance fills the way
“come stay by my side”, cried dawn
inviting me to a splendid morn
I freed myself from hazy grope
To gallop on tides of new hope.
My senses tinkled with merriment
I rose with throbbing excitement
That this day be filled with adventure
Of monumental joy and rapture.
