Renan Cardozo was born in the city of Jaguarão, interior of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Doctoral candidate and Master in Education through the Postgraduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Pelotas, Specialist in Information Technologies Applied to Education at the Federal University of Santa Maria (2017), and graduated in the Licentiate Course in Portuguese/Spanish Letters and Respective Literatures from the Federal University of Pampa (2015). Renan has experience in the area of curriculum, management and teacher training in the light of cultural and decolonial studies, with an emphasis on a critical intercultural perspective. He works as a teacher/collaborator at the Upiá Early Childhood School (Pelotas-RS), an environment that demonstrates respect for cultures and differences based on decolonial, anti-racist and anti-patriarchal pedagogies.
