Words and their meanings:

Petite(Adj.)-An attractive, small and dainty woman

Quandary(N)-A state of perplexity, or uncertainty over what to do in a difficult situation

Promptly(Adv.)-With little or no delay

Consternation(N)-A feeling of anxiety or dismay, typically at something unexpected

Divorced(Adj)-No longer married because the marriage has been legally dissolved

Reference(N)-An individual that serves as the point of contact for employers seeking to verify questions about a potential employee’s background

Outstanding(Adj.)-Exceptionally good or outstanding performance

Reputation(N)-The belief or opinion that are generally held about someone to something

Excellent(Adj.)-Extremely good, outstanding work or service

Damage(Adj.)-Physical harm that impairs the value, usefulness or normal function of something

Search Warrant(N)- A legal document authorizing a police officer to enter and search a building

Accommodate(V)-Provide lodgings or boarding for a friend or relative

Utilities(N)-An organization supplying the community with electricity, water or telephone

Assign(V)-Allocate a job or duty

Appreciate(V)-Recognize the full worth of somebody or something
