Sample Home Exchange Agreement
As a HOST you agree to the following for your guest:
1. You agree that your property is well maintained and the description presented on the exchange site for your listing is accurate.
2. Supply your guest a Household Guide to your property as well as instruction manuals for appliances and emergency contact numbers. A Neighborhood Guide with additional local information would also be nice.
3. Host will provide utility services that is ordinarily available to the home, including electricity, natural gas (if normally available), water, sewer, waste and local telephone service, unless otherwise noted in the conditions specified by the host.
As a GUEST your obligations to hosting member are as follows:
1. Respect the home, contents and neighborhood. Be responsible for reporting any breakage or damage before you leave and reimburse the host for any cost of replacing or repairing.
2. You will leave the home in the same condition as when you arrived, both clean and tidy.
3. Reimburse the host for the cost of any calls made from the host's phone, unless local calls are included.
4. You agree to abide by the number of visiting persons indicated in this agreement.
5. You agree to honor any special conditions, rules and requests made by the host in regards to the property; e.g. no smoking inside, no pets etc.
This agreement is binding upon signature from both parties.
