The Hot Spots

Barcelona is full of beautiful and diverse sites, and you will be able to look at well-known attractions, such as La Sagrada Familia. The building has been in construction since 1882, and likely to be complete in 2026. It is one of Gaudi’s most celebrated works, and it is a definitely a must-see if you have only a few days.

The next tourist attraction is Park Güell, which is a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The park has so much to offer, and you will be speechless while walking through it. It was also designed by Antoni Gaudi.

It is often referred to as one of the world’s utmost parks, and you will be surrounded by amazing architecture. It is an artist’s dream, and you will enjoy the creativity and aesthetics that make the park what it is today. You will enjoy the outdoors, a beautiful view of the city and you may even see some wildlife.

An Appreciation for the Arts

In addition, if you are wanting to spend your Sunday doing a few activities such as visiting a museum, then you can begin the day at La Rambla. In this spot, you will get a chance to visit the popular Liceu Theater, the Maritime Museum, or the Barcelona Aquarium. There is even a mall close to the area where you can do some shopping, or stop for lunch at any of the fine restaurants.

The museums in Barcelona will keep you busy, and will be a great way to fill up your weekend. For example, the Picasso Museum is filled with over 4000 of the artist’s works. You will be in the presence of some beautiful art, and it only continues from there.

The Fundació Joan Miró located on the Montjuïc Hill is filled with over 200 paintings, and is in the midst of a beautiful backdrop. A third museum that is worth visiting is the MNAC (the Museu Nacional D’Art De Catalunya). This museum features Catalan art from the 12th to the 20th century.

The last suggestion is visiting the Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA). It was open in 1995 in the Raval district. It has different exhibitions, which includes international artists. If you are wanting to leave the land, you can take a tour bus like Bus Turistic, and you will be able to get discounts for various attractions.

If you are wanting to spend a day looking at the art, then you can use the Articket. You will get admission to six museums, and you will save money. It will also save you time, and you will not have to wait in lines. We can help you plan a fun weekend, please feel free to visit our website for more information.
