Recording and Step Input

When you record or use Step Input in Score Edit, you can have all notes automatically inserted into the active voice:

 

1. Open the Preferences–Scores–Editor Behaviour dialog and make sure the option “Send Recorded Notes to Active Voice” is activated.
2. Make the Staff active where you want the notes to appear.

 

This is probably most easily done by clicking somewhere in the staff.

 

3. Click on a voice “Insert” button to select which voice you want the note to appear in. 4. Record or use Step Input.

 

The notes appear in the selected voice on the active Staff.
