Chapter 8: I am the Door

The crowds were endless as the three walked with Kleos. The multitude brought their families and friends to be healed of all types of diseases. From that time they called him Glory, for they said that Glory had come among them. Among the crowd was a rich shop owner. He made it his duty to get to Kleos.

"Good teacher, Good teacher," said the miller coming to Kleos, "How can I go to Heaven?"

"The road to heaven is narrow---there is only one way."

"One?" said the rich owner confused, "And what way would that be?" Kleos responded.

"Truly, Truly I say to you. Wide is the way to Hell, but narrow I the way to Heaven.

There are many doors creatures will enter in and they will die for doing so. The Door to Heaven will shed its blood, will die, and rise again from the dead. I am the Door," said Kleos, "By Me if any creature would enter in will be saved."

The rich owner was offended in his heart and many in the multitude as well.

"Are you offended?" said Kleos, "Listen to this, what is the wide way to Hell---all your works of righteousness! What is the narrow to Heaven---My work of righteousness!"

The rich owner now greatly offended, turned and walked away and so did many of the crowd. But Kleos saw a platypus, named Pottemer. He was a shy creature, whose faith was very small. Kleos touched him on the shoulder.

"Follow me." he said smiling. Pottermer in his small voice said,

"Glory," said the platypus, looking at the ground, "My faith is small and I am not strong."

"I will be your strength and I am the author and finisher of your faith, follow me."

And from that day forward, Pottermer followed Kleos.
