Some types of my species have remained quite wild and independent, which is something you have to respect due to their strength and bravery in relation to getting by on their own.
Most of the time, though, us cats have become more and more of the cosmopolitan type, living in cities, and in many cases, sharing our homes with you humans.
Remembering some information from my kitty schooling days, I learned that we are now to be found on all continents except Antarctica. Yeah, it’s way too windy, icy, snowy, and cold for us to be wandering around in that place! In addition, we make our homes on the majority of the major island groups too.
Our habitats thus include almost any kind of geographic or climatic conditions, meaning we’re one of the most adaptable species around, wouldn’t you say?
