You were not just my father you where my friend, my saviour. The words on your gravestone say “You were simply the best.”
Some of my family were against me writing this book and I am sorry if I have upset any of you, you know who you are. But ask yourself this question “Would you put any of your children 221
into care?” I hope the answer would be NO. Its been very hard writing this book, its brought back a lot of bad and very upsetting memories I wanted to forget, but I went ahead and done what I believe.

“A FEW POEMS TO THINK ABOUT”
I WROTE SOME OF THESE IN CARE.
“Mum never heard my shouts”
When you are scared and all alone
You want your mum
And not be on your own.
Life is all about the pitfalls
I wanted to be loved off my mum
But she didn‟t answer my calls.
Home is where the heart is
But it wasn‟t for me
We were owned by the Local Authority Not with my family.
