Patricia Joan Lawlor (1933-2017) was born to Patrick and Nora Lawlor. If it wasn't for her appearance in Playboy, she wouldn't be well known. She was named Playmate of the Month of August 1955. That led to a brief acting career with Columbia Pictures in what were mostly walk-on roles. Her breakthrough role was as Irene in the cult classic Invasion of the Saucer Men (1957). Patti's most significant publicity came when she filed a lawsuit against police officers who entered her apartment at 1324 N. Alta Vista St without a warrant to search for narcotics.
She later withdrew the $20,000 lawsuit. She modeled for various magazines including Chicks and Chuckles, True Adventures, and Man's Illustrated. Her appearances on the Colgate Comedy Hour with Robert Mitchum and The Millionaire with Joan Camden was well-received by critics. She later married Jerome Donikowsk and became a schoolteacher in California, retiring in 2000.
