Barbara Joy Langstaff (1935-2022) was a self-taught dancer and actress. She began her career going to an audition and doing a routine that she choreographed. Although she didn't get the part, a producer took notice and cast her on Your Show of Shows and the Colgate Comedy Hour. She is best remembered by audiences for her role in Howard Hughes' Son of Sinbad (1955), where she says "Some fruit oh master? I picked it with my own hands." She was born in Bronson, Iowa, to Archie Raymond Langstaff and Olive Kingsbury. Although her acting career was short-lived, she was in several magazines such as See, Picture Scope, and Pageant. She married, had two children, and retired in Forest, Virginia where she died at the age of 87.
