Donna Percy

Donna Rose Percy (1934-2010) was crowned Miss Ontario before getting into films by reciting a monologue written by Charles Dickens. On October 4, 1954, she was signed by Paramount Pictures and they cast her in You’re Never Too Young (1955). That was it. They chose not to renew her contract, and she decided to be a singer instead. Her pop-themed recordings with Metro Records and Remo Records were very popular among listeners in the 1950s.
