Catherine "Kathy" Lois Raymond (1926-2023) exemplified elegance, class, and grace. Her looks were often compared to that of Grace Kelly. She was raised in Palo Alto, California before moving to Southern California to study English at Riverside Junior College. It was there that she was crowned Homecoming Queen of 1948. She transferred to the University of California, Los Angeles shortly thereafter. She was runner-up in the Miss San Francisco pageant of 1950, and became a sought-after model in department stores. Her son Phillip cared for her until he death in 2023.
