Betty Lou Dieringer (1929-1999) was a gorgeous 5'6" brunette who was frequently seen in wide-release films like Lovely to Look At (1952), Brigadoon (1954), and Son of Sinbad (1955).
Although she typically portrayed models and chorus girls, she was a trained dancer and vocalist who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Edward and Pearl Dieringer. She started modeling
-giving up painting- after graduating from Medford High School.
In 1947, she was given a contract by RKO Studios. She married Gregor Hartung that year, but they divorced years later after she said that he abused her. She later married Lloyd Harold Swanson.
