I had the privilege of speaking with Carol J. Silversparre (1931-2022) shortly before she passed away. She was born in Santa Monica, California to David and Helen Silversparre, and modeled everything you could think of including apparel, jewelry, swimsuits, and appliances. Her resume includes the Los Angeles Police Show, the Western Jewelry and Silverware Show, the Swimsuit Revue, and the Rosemary Reid Swimsuit Show. She is perhaps best known for modeling on Queen for a Day until its cancellation. She was the mother of six children, whom she raised while enjoying hobbies such as skiing and tennis.
