Smith

Elizabeth Jane Smith (1932-2022) initially had no ambitions of being a model. While studying at the University of California, Los Angeles where she was a part of Alpha Omicron Pi, she entered a pageant held by the National Association of Letter Carriers where she was crowned Miss Letter Carrier of 1951. This led to a role in Howard Hughes' Son of Sinbad (1955), which would be her only onscreen appearance. She quickly realized that she didn't like the industry, and finished her studies instead. She married Richard Lee Beirdneau, a veteran, shortly thereafter and raised two children named John and Kathleen. Elizabeth died in October 2022 after suffering from Alzheimer's Disease.
