GHOST IN THE NIGHT
An old ghost invades my troubled soul.
And makes me a prisoner of an unholy dream,
Mirroring a dark love unforgiven.
Fate’s mandate is thrust upon my
Unwilling shoulders,
A bondage of tears.
There is no protest to be made
Nor any altar found upon which
This dark love may be redeemed.
