I NEVER SAW YOU AGAIN

Conjure me a dream of darkness and dust,

A silenced dream mourning its sudden death.
The quest for light is a humble truth

Truly human in desire.
I know not why we are trapped
In our tragic mire,
I know only that your brief kiss was fire.

But lost, why lost?

And I shall run down to the sea and

Scream into the wind,
And demand to know why this feeling

Died before it could even begin.
