DESCRIPTION AND SYMBOLISM
In Justice a crowned woman seated on a throne centered between two pillars gazes out at us. To her rear hangs a purple veil, the color of royalty, a symbol of the action of Higher Consciousness acting through her. In her left hand she holds a pair of balanced scales and in her right hand a raised sword – the very embodiment of the law of Karma (a word whose most fundamental meaning is “action”) which symbolizes an undeviating Divine Justice, the unyielding principal upon which creation rests assuring that, in the end, all will reap what they have sown. Upon the head of this regal lady lies a crown of three turrets with a perfect square inscribed in the center. The three (3) turrets and the four (4) sides of the perfect square when added together yield seven (7) - the most sacred of all numbers – a number which expresses the seven fold manifestation of the one Life Power. In her left hand she holds a pair of perfectly balanced scales symbolizing the fundamental law of equilibrium that inheres in all things while in her other hand is her sword of authority which enforces this law and cuts away all that which is excessive, unjust, harmful or obsolete so that the universal balance may always be maintained and life may ever move forward on its eternal evolutionary journey. Justice invokes an atmosphere of balance maintained through a just and equitable approach to any situation and seeks to establish truth and justice as the basis for all actions or decisions.
