“The Rose of the Palace of Fire”

Cancer – Leo - Virgo

Earth of Fire

DESCRIPTION AND SYMBOLISM

A superbly dressed young woman stands alone on the desert sands holding a single wand as though she is preparing to make an important announcement or reveal some exciting news. She looks upward towards the top of the wand she holds and her face radiates enthusiasm. She is dressed in a yellow cloak adorned with fiery salamanders and a grey hat sporting a single red, flame like feather. Her boots are also topped with a yellow, flame like trim. To her left, three pyramids rise out of the desert sands. Her cloak is decorated with a salamander motif portraying images of legendary creatures that were associated with elemental fire - the energy of creativity and will that all sentient beings possess.

The wand she holds symbolizes her energy, assertiveness, passion and will – the solar energy within her consciousness that makes her an outgoing, enthusiastic, brave and valiant individual who is worthy to be the spokeswoman of the Primal will.

ASTROLOGICAL ASSOCIATION

Ruling as she does, a full quarter of the natural Zodiac, the Page of Wands integrates in her essence the qualities of the signs of Cancer, Leo and Virgo. Cancer bestows sensitivity, gracefulness and emotional sincerity; Leo grants her energy, power and courage while Virgo blesses her with stability, practicality and endurance.

EARTH OF FIRE

The materialized will of Spirit is made manifest in the Earth of Fire. The Page proclaims the revelation of Fire thus manifesting this spiritual power in the realm of Nature through which it becomes practical, solid and stable in its expression yet stimulates the emotions to experience its spiritual qualities of joy, beauty and inspiration.

ORACLES

When the Page of Wands appears she may indicate yourself, another person close to you, someone who may enter your life, an aspect of your own personality or an aspect of yourself that needs to be recognized, developed or asserted. She may also represent a situation that you may find yourself in.

When Appearing Upright in a Reading

The Page represents a daring, independent, charismatic, resourceful, freedom loving and ambitious person of great energy and enthusiasm. As a person she is strong and self confident and a kind and generous friend who is both loyal and trustworthy as well as being a captivating and devoted lover. She often functions as a messenger bringing good news, fresh ideas or a deeper insight into any matter that concerns you. Her appearance represents success in love or in any endeavor or matter of inquiry.

When Appearing Reversed in a Reading

This Page represents a cruel, egotistical and domineering person who pursues self-advancement as her only goal without any regards to the consequences of her actions or their impact on the lives of others. She desires to advance herself at all costs and will make any compromise or take any action no matter how ruthless to attain her ends. She is irresponsible, untrustworthy and deceitful and can inflict great suffering and pain on others. In matters of romance, this Page represents disappointment in love or a lack of success in any endeavor or matter of inquiry.

 THE TREE OF LIFE

“The Kingdom”

The evolutionary fire of Spirit as manifested in Nature finds its goal in the Earth of Fire as she represents the concrete materialization and actualization of the Primal Will to Good which continually creates and sustains the universe. Through her voice this Will makes itself manifest in the natural world.
