RETAIL DATA COLLECTOR
OVERVIEW
Retail data collectors collect consumer retail data from a variety of retails stores. This data is collected by scanning the UPC codes on products. This is another great way to earn extra money if you need to pay small bills.
The work is a no brainer. It involves you going to a selected store and scanning the bar code labels located on ads, promotional items, store displays and/or store shelving.

WORK SCHEDULE
Retail data collectors are W-2 employees. They have the flexibility to set their own work schedules and collect data when it best fits into their schedule, as long as the projects are completed by the due dates. Since the data is collected primarily from retail stores that are open late 7 days a week, you can collect data at 10pm if you like or 3 am if the store is open 24 hours.
HOW MUCH YOU CAN EXPECT TO EARN
The pay range is generally between $8.50 and $10.00 per hour. Most companies pay for drive time and mileage. The work hours range from 5-20 hours a week depending on the project.
GETTING PAID
Most companies offer direct deposit and pay twice a month.
DRAWBACKS
1. Not many companies offer this service.
2. Opportunities can be limited if you live in a rural area.
