INDEPENDENT FIELD AUDITOR
OVERVIEW
Independent field auditors are independent contractors that perform a variety of retail, compliance and procedural audits. These services are provided by a variety of companies including mystery shopping and merchandising companies. The work is generally fairly simple. It involves visiting an assigned business, performing services based on the instructions and completing a report form. The report form is submitted online directly to the company’s website.

WORK SCHEDULE
You have the freedom to select only the assignments you want to complete. Once you accept an assignment, it must be completed with the specified time frame. You can work as little or as much as you want.
HOW MUCH YOU CAN EXPECT TO EARN
Fees vary from company to company and are paid based on the nature of the assignment. Fees can be as low as $3 per task and up to $150 per assignment. Assignments take between 10 minutes to up to three hours to complete.
GETTING PAID
Pay dates and methods vary from company to company, most pay twice a month and offer direct deposit.
DRAWBACKS
1. The work flow can be inconsistent.
2. Some of the fees for assignments can be too low.
