INTRODUCTION

WHY I WROTE THIS BOOK

Searching for a way to earn extra money is not an easy task. With so many scams on the internet it’s difficult to know where to start. This book was created to save you time and frustration.

This is my story: I am an entrepreneur.   In 2007, I lost everything in the great recession.    After working for myself for over 17 years, I found myself needing a way to make a living but I dreaded the idea of working for someone else, especially a traditional job with set work hours.

I spent hours researching online, looking for a way to earn extra money.  It seemed that everything that I found that didn’t require time or an investment to get started, involved selling, multi- level marketing, gimmicks and scams or unrealistic ideas.

It was frustrating because I didn’t have the time or money to invest in an opportunity. Perseverance prevailed and I eventually stumbled upon several of the income opportunities listed in this book.

I jumped right in and within a couple of weeks I had money coming in. It wasnt a lot of money but I was still excited. It was if I had discovered gold.

After much trial and error, within a couple of months, I was making enough money to cover my living expenses by combining several of these income opportunities; I call this Patch-working”.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS BOOK

I want to point out a few things about this book. As the title of this book indicates, the primary purpose of this book is to help you earn “extra money. Weve all seen the ads on the internet, Make $87 an hour working part-time or Make fast cash working from home online”, etc. Well this is definitely not that book!

You wont make $5,000 a month working part-time or earn money while you sleep. The income opportunities listed in this book are realistic. All of them can be easily started with no out of pocket costs. And don’t worry none of them involve multi - level marketing, sales, chain letters, dog walking, plant watering or any other unrealistic, outdated or dumb ideas commonly found on t
