Grow Your Following

Of course you want to make sure people follow you. Who else would read your awesome tweets?

As I said in the beginning, you don’t want to follow every single person you see. You want to follow people who are interested in the same niche as you are. It is not very hard to find these people.

What you want to do is to find any leaders in your niche. It might take some time depending on the niche. You want to follow these people. But you also want to take a look at the other people who is following the “leader”. It might be 1000s of people and you don’t want to follow each and every one.

What you want to do is to take a look at the “leaders” tweets and see who is engaging (retweets, likes, answers and so on) the tweets. These are the kind of people you want to follow.

Why?

Because they are active on Twitter, they read the tweets and they engage in tweets they like.

How can this help you grow your following? Well, if you follow someone, there is a chance that they will follow you back = WIN! Not everyone will do this of course, but a certain percent will and since we already know what they are people who is retweeting and liking, there is a chance that your tweets will spread to their followers and so on…

Getting a following on Twitter is much easier than on Facebook and it often give better results. The above is basically it, there is not so much more to it.
