Chapter Eleven

What Financial Benefits Teens Can Get from Taking Surveys Online?

Money Making Teens

Teens around the world are usually up to doing things like dating on the weekends, riding bikes, going to the malls and sometimes just being delinquents. No matter how we categorize them, we were all teens at one point in our lives, and I'm very sure most of us wanted to have more money in our pockets too! This digital information age we're in could be some of the best times of our lives when it comes to making income outside of a "normal job."

Parents you know how tough it can be once a kid becomes a teenager who wants everything new, but it can costs you more to get it for them. Things are not as cheap for them like when they were a lot younger and sometimes this can cause conflict and confusion. Not to mention the sometimes violent compulsive reactions a teen can have when they don't get those things they want. By the way, please understand that I'm not in the intention to be judgmental of anyone's children.

This information is to only help families see a useful financial alternative and as a parent giving your children the best to take care of themselves. If you're reading this section and you fall into the age category of 13 to 18 years old, then I hope you will find this part motivating. That is motivating enough to get off your butts and make some easy money for yourselves now, so you can possibly have that new car before your high school graduation!

Again, just like in the previous sections of mom & dad, I'll provide a detail example so you can get an idea of how much money for you in paid survey taking as a teen.

Daily Routine of Online Survey Taking

*Note: As a rule of thumb the number of different survey sites are set at 10, but you may do as many as you like.

According to how you approach this method, you could have more or less. Also this includes saving up to make larger purchases later on.

Now after studying this, ask yourself these questions...

Can I now get those cute shoes I've been wanting forever?

Can I now get the new 50in 3D HDTV to go with my new Xbox & Playstation consoles? for yourself because dorm life sucks?

Can I now go to every NBA home game with my friends?

Can I get me a pet chihuahua and carry it around everywhere to impress my girlfriends?

Can I buy more apps for my iPhone and iPad?

How about the upcoming new iPhone or iPad... Could you pre-order it now?

Should I choose more tops to go with these pants I've had me eye on in the mall?

Can I now turn that awesome sketch design into a tattoo I've wanted for myself?

Should I choose between an acoustic or electric guitar?

Can I now pick out which car I want for my graduation present this May?

Again, the list goes on and on!

As I said before, you would only need to apply this for about 1.5 to 2 hours daily to make this work. The amount for each survey taken would vary but you could always achieve to set your own dollar amount per day.

I Have Too Much Homework?

There are combinations of how many and what times of the day you can do surveys. If you're a student who juggles weekly afternoon activities and doubt this would work for you, then try to see if you could minimize them into the school week. For example, you could do either two or three surveys at the same time in a day, which only takes about 15-30 min. It won't be a lot of money but this would add up to about $2-5 a day.

In detail below are different scenarios of how this can be achieved.

Scenario 1:

$2.50
(one survey a day) x 5 (school days) = $12.50 a school week or $50 a month.

If cell phones are allowed at your school during recess, then you can do one survey during that time and make yourself an easy $2.50. Obviously the downside to this is you won't have much social time on the yard outside, but at least you'll earn a bit of money. Just remember, not too many kids earn money while they're at school on recess!

You can also wait later to do a survey after returning home from school. This can either be directly after you walk inside the door, or after dinner before bed. If you're too tired before bed then you should do it whenever you're energized. After all, one survey would only take about 15-20mins of your time!

Scenario 2:

$5
(two surveys a day) x 5 (school days) = $25 a school week or $100 a month.

You can multi-task two different surveys together and take them at the same time. It would allow you to start and finish both surveys on about the same time frame, by having two tabs or windows opened in your browser. You could always double your money in one session doing it this way.

The other option is you can do one while at school on recess and another at home when school is out for the day. You'll collect another $2.50, giving you a total of $5 for the day. You should also remember to make additional income on the side from everyone of your referrals who signs up under you. This alone could bring in way more money than taking the surveys itself on autopilot!

I hope that you see how this can be managed for just about anyone's situation. As I don't personally know how your lifestyle can fit into this but if you can make time, than it will definitely happen for you. While every other teen out there is trying to get a job after school, this is something you could do now to earn some money on your own convenient schedule.

I would also advise you to share this around to your friends on campus if they're interested. Just keep in mind the legal age for teens to sign up with survey panels, as some can be young as 13 years old. You may return to the earlier chapter on the "top list of surveys that pays money" area to find out!
