Chapter 9 – Turning Passions and Goals into Reality

Turning your passions into reality requires you to do many things. Now that  you know how to find your passion and live your passion, you need to make  your passion really happen. Here are things you can do to make it happen.

Believe and affirm.

so excited to sit on the Oprah Winfrey show and talk about your passion and  how you turned it into a reality. Believe and feel empowered as you think  about your endeavor and how you are going to be successful. I know it is  hard to create belief. Yes, it is hard, especially if the dream is really big!  Trust me, I’ve had my own share of cultivating belief that I’ll be on top of  the world. But one of my personal growth mentors taught me that believing

power Say..."I will survive. I will thrive. I am coming to the top, am rising.  Giving up is not who I am, it’s not in my DNA. I will stay the course, and  persist until I succeed." You might have to do this while down on your  knees, praying, crying, or screaming at the top of your lungs. Resist the  feeling of being overwhelmed, powerless or being a victim. You will survive  and thrive on this journey of living your best life and passion.

Attitude

Your attitude could make you or break you. You need to maintain a complete  positive attitude. Be positive at all times. Don’t let the little things get you  down or upset you. You are living your passion and every obstacle now is a  learning experience.

Now you need to have a positive outlook on everything you do with your life,  business and your passion.  When you take time to correct your attitude, the way you look at things  changes. Napoleon Hill has a statement I fancy, “Change the way you look  at things and the things you look at will change”. In this case, when others  see challenges, you see opportunities. In a moment when you would have

to work in your favor more often than they ever have before. It is really  about the way you look at things and not how bad they really are. You make  things and a situation bad. Your attitude is what will make it positive.

Hone Your Idea

If you are in a situation where you cannot make your passion a reality  today, then you will need to hone your intentions. You can take your idea  and make it better by chiseling away at the details. Lay out the plan for your  project or business endeavor and every detail you will need to consider.  When you are in a waiting period, there are still plenty of things for you to  do. Don’t look at a waiting period as a sign you shouldn’t get started or as  another way to procrastinate.

Build Momentum

The best way to build momentum when you are working toward your  passion is to act on the ideas you have. Act right away and don’t sit around  for something to happen or come to you. The same goes for a problem you  need to fix. You need to act on it. The more responsive you are, the more  you begin to build a momentum that is hard to break. Your laziness will go  away and you will do well with being more productive.

Make the Best of Your Resources

When you are making it happen, then you need to make the best of your  resources. You might not have a lot of money and you need to find ways to  take care of things like daycare and errands. You can find friends and other  supportive individuals to help you. If you are short on supplies, you might  have to talk to friends and people to see where you can get a hold of more  supplies.

The creativity you have learned in the earlier chapters of this book will play  into motion at this time. You may not have money or resources you need, so  you need to be creative about things you can do. If you are a writer without  a computer, then you can go to the public library and use a free one. Find  resources that you can use to make your passions successful.

Sacrifice and Hard Work

In most cases when someone works toward a passion, they are prepared to  work hard and willing to sacrifice just about anything.

When you first start off with your new job, you might find that you are very  poor to begin with. You cannot expect to be a success overnight. Things will  take time but the importance is that you will be doing what you enjoy. You  will be required to work long hours and sacrifice family time and many other  things. Sacrifice is the most important thing you can do if you want to be  successful.

There is no substitute for hard work if you want to reach your goals. Don’t  quit, look up to yourself to make it up to you. Only you can reach the goals

Organize Your Life

Organize your life around your passion. You have started a new business or  passion that you want to be successful in, start living the successful day that  you have always dreamed of. For example, wake up early in the morning,  carry out your SPHERE OF SILENCE, do a little working out, read a few  chapters of a book, talk to your team, and more. Organize your life to be  useful time that is healthy for you. Plan your time with plenty of exercise  and healthy decisions. Be sure you are getting enough sleep also. You will  have to put in a lot of hours to be successful at first. Don’t lose sleep or you  will have problems enjoying your passion. Working toward a passion means  you get to sleep too. Proper organizing will allow you to be successful and  more productive and the sphere of silence will get you covered on that.

Visualize and Meditate

Visualizing is very important if you want to work toward your passion.  Meditation and visualization help you see where you are going with your  passion. You have an idea manifesting

Don’t you dare give up!!

Lastly, I want to dedicate a lot more time on this because it’s the single  most killer of living your passion. You need to know that it’s about the work  you do, the passion and dreams you want to live. While living your passion, you can  earn a lot of money, travel to all those trips to exotic locales and drive those  gorgeous bonus cars. You have the chance to really get your freedom.

But that’s the thing about freedom. It’s never free, it comes with  CHALLENGES, and lots of them hey! For a fact, success in living your passion  is the by-product of hard dedicated consistent work that comes with  hardship of living as you please, not as the world pleases; and you must be  willing to pay the price for this success. Success never goes on sale. You  have to pay the market price.

I’ve tasted my own version of failures on living my passion, on various  occasions. I’ve sacrificed things so dear to me, I’ve lost dear friends who try  to contain my stride into my passion, I’ve put aside hobbies for the sake of  focusing on my passion.

I’ve watched friends in “good jobs”, seem to living the best time of their life  of achievement because of the instant gratification they were enjoying! I put in all  my best and yet failed miserably, head down, amidst people who thought I was  insane to think that I can be different from the majority, not forgetting my so called  “loved ones” who paid money for me to go to school, get good grades and find a  good job! And here I was, defecting, yet failing and promising again and again that  things will be better tomorrow!

They looked at what I was pushing for as a waste of time and resources! All these  events made it look like I had gone through enough to deserve the  achievement of my dream. But hell no, I still struggled even more.

Now, if you are able to connect with that situation, you know that common  sense at this point tells you I should have quit. But dreams never come true  with common sense. Dreams come true because they are bold, daring,  imaginative, and are strong enough to pull you toward them.

I could have quit, should have quit, would have quit. But I came to a  realization that changed everything for me: I realized I am the most  ambitious person I knew, and there was freedom in that line of thinking,  which eventually has led to the real freedom of the mind. I kept going  because I had a mantra that got me free. And it can get you free. Here it is:

“I WILL DO TODAY WHAT OTHERS WILL NOT DO, SO TOMORROW  I CAN DO WHAT OTHERS CANNOT DO.”

img32.png

We can’t see them, but we have a vision for them. We have the vision for  them because we have the passion for them.

In the league of passion chasing, that is why we do self-development every  morning; speak those affirmations, put up those pictures on the refrigerator.

Doing what we do is not easy. It’s not supposed to be. But it is simple and  important. Not just for your passion, freedom or your dreams, but the  freedom and dreams of everyone you will make a difference for. Most people  today doubt their beliefs and believe their doubts. You have to be different.

Look, don’t dare give in, don’t give up, you’re worth it. You really are.  Live those dreams. That is my dream for you. Live your passion.
