Remember these five handy tips:
Never talk badly about your previous employer. Bad-mouthing your former team makes you appear unprofes-sional and unpleasant.
Control your emotions and show that you’re okay with it.
Even if you’re still harbouring hard feelings about your dis-missal, don’t let it show.
Don’t mention the personal dimension of the problem.
Don’t go into details about the personal feuds in your previous job.
Be optimistic about your future. Steer the conversation to-wards the future rather than the past. Say how excited you are about this new opportunity.
Speak about the positive sides of your previous jobs. What have you learned there and how it’s useful in the new job. Focus on skills you’ve acquired in that position.
