3.2 Introducing each chapter

Remember, each chapter is made up of up to seven or eight text chunks that have come from somewhere else or have been written in general terms. You now need to add a file to each chapter though to add a Chapter title and three to four paragraph to introduce the chapter. This is original writing as well and requires that you tie things back to what you said in the Foreword.

Each chapter introduction should:

• Refer to what the reader has learnt from the last chapter
• Refer back to the Foreword where a link in thought can be placed
• Identify the key thoughts or elements in summary of this coming chapter
• Place this chapter in the terms of what the whole argument of the book is about.

Some chapters this may require up to three paragraphs to accomplish, while others will be simple and not require more than a simple paragraph.
