4. Composing the product

At this point in the composing process we have text chunks that are both common to other texts and some that are uniquely devised for a product yet to be assembled. The assembly process is a relatively quick process using the “IncludeText” field in MS Word, one command for each file to be included.

We also need to consider the separate but also automated processes of building a table of contents, inserting an index and assembling the glossary (if indeed there is necessity of a glossary). This chapter is centrally about preparing the eBook product for which this system was devised. There are however additional products that can be composed now that we have reusable text chunks and everything is housed in the rather liquid Brain environment.
