Okay now here’s a trick that it is perfectly legitimate to use to gain bigger sales
outside of fiverr. Now you aren’t allowed to contact the buyer by any direct
means outside of fiverr such as email or skype.
However there is nothing to stop you giving them a free bonus when you deliver
your gig, and to get this bonus they may have to type their email in on a website
or blog that you own.
Now let’s take one example of this say I sell a guide on fiverr as to “how to grow
cucumbers”. I deliver the guide but as a thank you I include a link to a website
that has no contact details on it (To comply with fiverr guidelines) but that offers
them a bonus guide on “how to grow massive cucumbers” if they submit their
email address.
This will then allow you to not only send them the bonus guide automatically but
also to capture their email address. You can then use this to subsequently market
much higher priced items to them such as “How to grow giant tomatoes” at $37
with a 75% commission.
Thus a $5 sale can be used to steer people towards much bigger sales outside of
fiverr. Doing it this way complies with the rules they set out with regards to
contact outside of fiverr and so it won’t get you banned.
So if earning a 75% commission on a $37 sale appeals to you then may well want
to carefully structure some, if not all of your gigs towards this goal. This means
creating a gig that you can then offer a related bonus offer with to get the user to
sign up so that you can then market a closely related higher value product to
them.
This will require some thought on your part when creating your gigs and finding
products that are closely related to the content to sell to the buyer later on.
It’s not going to be possible for a lot of gigs you create but it is worth creating
gig’s based on the ability to chase after a larger sale later on. One easy example
would be to offer a dieting plan on fiverr, as there are plenty of eBooks on dieting
and losing weight that pay big commissions that you can sell to them later on.
The place I would recommend looking for products to sell is www.clickbank.com
as this is the world’s largest digital marketplace, and there are eBooks that you
can be an affiliate for and sell for good commissions of up to 75%.
As I say you won’t find an eBook on clickbank that is closely related to all of your
gigs, but it’s worth pursuing for those that you can find a complimentary product
for.
Clickbank is 100% free to sign up for as an affiliate and I like them as they pay
out every two weeks like clockwork. Over $2 Billion in sales so far so you know
you’re in good hands.
In order to capture the buyers email and send them your free report you will
need an auto responder and I always use and recommend aweber as nothing else
comes close and they do a free months trial for $1.
