He hurriedly walks further into the room and welcomes his big brother with a hug.

DAPO

(after letting go of Femi) My big brother, you just forgot about me. No be so oh!

He has a very rich deep voice.

FEMI

Life of a police officer demands no vacation.

DAPO

Father have invited you into the family business, why do you still choose the force? Do you like living like this?

FEMI

Yes. At least I’m not walking in anyone’s shadow.

Chioma is seated up, looking on at the pair as tension travels back and forth along the ground that separates them. Dapo smiles and drops the conversation:

DAPO

Okay big brother, what ever you say.

Close on Femi’s face as it swings from NONCHALANT to SHOCK. He is staring at something off-camera and behind Dapo. Chioma and Dapo are quickly aware of the shock that dumbfounds Femi. They trace his eyes to have a glimpse of Femi’s mayhem. Now we can see who they are all staring at: Amara, who is standing at the door, barefooted, only in an oversize Men’s shirt that covers the important stuffs. At least now we know why Dapo is shirtless.

Close on Amara’s face, which is frozen in fear.

FEMI (to Chioma)

Can you give us a moment? I want to talk to my brother alone.

Amara has disappeared. Chioma lifts herself up quietly and ghostly makes her way out of the bedroom. Femi and Dapo are now left alone.

FEMI (CONT’D) (re: Amara)

How do you know that woman?
