CHIOMA

Are you even pregnant?

AMARA (nonchalantly)

Oh please, I just lied to get him to tie the knot. Still he couldn’t.

INT. FEMI’S ROOM, FEMI’S PARENT’S MANSION - SAME TIME

Femi walks pass Dapo to the open door and slams it closed. He turns around and walks further into the room, few inches shy away from Dapo, as they stand head on.

FEMI

That girl is playing you.

DAPO

And how do you know that? (nonchalantly)

Anyway I’m playing her too, so who cares?

Femi pushes his face closer to Dapo’s, and lifts his voice:

FEMI

I care!

Dapo is calm and quiet.

FEMI (CONT’D) (in a lower tone)

I’m sorry man. It’s just that your girl is an accomplice in an open murder case, and I don’t want her to drag you into any rising dust.

Dapo’s face swings from IGNORANCE to VEXATION.

DAPO

Are you calling my girlfriend a murderer? Is that how jealous of me you have become?

Femi swings a swift slap at Dapo, which strikes his left cheek.

INT. DAPO’S ROOM, FEMI’S PARENT’S MANSION - SAME TIME

Chioma throws her fisted hand at Amara, which instantly floors her. She pounces on Amara, and the pair rumble.
