TEGA

By the time I finish with you, you go wish say you die for that accident.

Tega hisses and walks away from the room, leaving Uche sobbing.

INT. THE DPO’S OFFICE, NIGERIA POLICE STATION - SAME TIME

The DPO is standing by his window cabinet, fixing two glasses of scotch. It seems like he is expecting someone important. A knock is heard on the door. The DPO is done fixing the drinks. He calls out:

AYAKPAT

Who’s there?!

FEMI (O.S.)

It’s Femi, sir.

He covers the almost empty bottle of whisky and navigates it into the cabinet. He smiles as he turns around to face the door.

AYAKPAT

Come in!

The door slowly swings open as Femi appears at the doorframe. Mr. Ayakpat holds the two thin glasses of scotch whisky in his hands, and hands one to Femi as he draws closer.

AYAKPAT (CONT’D)

Femo femo! My golden boy! Amazing day it is.

The pair clink their glasses and drink up. They gasp with heat down their throat, and giggle right after. The DPO pats Femi on the back.

AYAKPAT (CONT’D)

Some day, you’ll be just like me, heading your own station, and who knows your own command. Just keep up the good work, son.

EXT. NIGERIA POLICE STATION - FEW MOMENTS LATER

Chioma is staring at Uche’s wrecked vehicle now parked within the compound of the station. Femi walks out through the main entrance of the station to sunlight. Chioma and Femi lock eyes with a smile. They slowly and steadily approach each other. They stop in their tracks two paces away from each other.
