UCHE

You are going nowhere. We are going straight home and we will talk about this like two civilized human beings.

JUMP CUT TO:

INT. ROOM 7, WING C, ST. NICHOLAS HOSPITAL - CONTINUOUS

Chioma’s face is waxed with disgust.

CHIOMA

The presence of Uche sort of recoiled me. I wanted to be far away from him as possible.

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. LEKKI-EPE EXPRESSWAY - CONTINUOUS - FLASHBACK

Chioma loses her temper.

CHIOMA

This isn’t funny anymore. I’m not enjoying this anymore. Pull over and let me out of this damn car.

UCHE (laughs)

So this was funny before. Telling me that you never loved me was funny to you. So you were actually enjoying this before.

(bursts in Pidgin English) Uche, you don chop shit.

CHIOMA

(almost in a whisper) Dammit!

UCHE

Is it me you’re telling ‘Dammit’? So you speak foul words now? Is it your friends from work? Are they the ones corrupting you?

Chioma’s facial expression indicates that she is getting more irritated with every single cluster of words that streams out freely from Uche’s mouth.

UCHE (CONT’D)

If that’s so, then you will have to quit that petty job of yours and come teach at my department.
