CHIOMA

So my job is now petty? Thank you very much Mister lecturer, but I love what I do. Now, would you let me out, or do you want me to call the police and tell them that I’m being kidnapped?

 

UCHE (arrogantly)

 

Call the police! How can I kidnap my fiancee? Please call the police right now. Go ahead, let me hear the nonsense you’re going to tell them is my crime.

 

CHIOMA (squints)

 

You are not my fiance. As far as I’m concerned, you’re just my jealous boyfriend, so this is kidnap. Even if I was your fiancee, taking me against my will is hostile and literally kidnap. So I have a case here.

 

Uche laughs in despair. His eyes brimming with jealousy and rage. He is losing this battle, and he knows it.

 

UCHE (in pain)

 

So I’m now your jealous boyfriend. Is that how far I’ve fallen in your sight?

 

SUDDENLY, his facial expression becomes subtle and malicious.

The visitor’s chair is empty. Femi is on his feet, resting his back on a wall, legs CROSSED, arms WRAPPED, facing Chioma.

 

CHIOMA

 

I could see it in his eyes. His soul had left him at that moment,
