FEMI (CONT’D)

The person at the hospital mortuary isn’t the same person that ran his car into the wall.

Chioma is breathing heavily.

CHIOMA (to Femi)

What are you trying to say?

AYAKPAT (to Chioma)

The person at the mortuary isn’t your Uche, madam. That is what he is trying to tell you.

FEMI (to Chioma)

They want you to come over to the mortuary and see if you can identify the deceased.

Chioma swallows her saliva. This is more than she’d bargained for.

INT. MORTUARY, ST. NICHOLAS HOSPITAL - CONTINUOUS

A cross-section of dead bodies lined and packed in coverings is continuously revealed as a Mortuary Attendant leads Chioma and Femi to a FROZEN body of the man found at the accident scene with Chioma.

The Attendant is wearing elastic blue gloves on his hands, thick black boots on his feet, and completely covered in a TRANSPARENT waterproof coat, revealing his inner clothes. All three of them are wearing a nose covering, much like those worn by surgeons while performing medical operations in a theatre.
