PARAMEDIC #2

 

No pulse at all. He’s already dead.

 

TEGA

 

Take the man go mortuary, and take the woman go hospital.

(points to Femi)

 

My partner go come your hospital later today.

 

Tega takes a quick glance at the ambulance, which reads: “ST.

 

NICHOLAS HOSPITAL”.

 

TEGA (CONT’D) (reads aloud)

St. Nicholas Hospital.

 

PARAMEDIC #2

 

Yes, sir.

 

TEGA

 

Oya make una dey go now. Make this woman no go die for here.

 

PARAMEDIC #2

Okay, sir.

(to Paramedic #1)

Get the stretcher, let’s take them out of here.

 

Uche and an unknown lady gets into the Honda vehicle and drives off. Tega walks over to Femi.

 

TEGA (angrily)

 

Why you let those people go? We suppose arrest them, take them go station, detain them for there until we finish investigation. What if na them kill these people so? Na so we just let them waka like that.

 

FEMI

 

Abeg make we dey go station. You resemble bad person pass them. See your face.
