TEGA (O.S.)

Tega and Kunle, sir.

He covers the half-filled bottle, and lifts his glass from the cabinet. He walks behind his desk, takes a sip, and then sits.

AYAKPAT

Come in.

The door is heard swinging open and slowly. Mr. Ayakpat picks a file from the top of a pile on his desk, slaps the file on his desk and slides it to the other edge of the desk.

AYAKPAT (CONT’D) (to Tega off-camera)

That is Femi’s report. I want you to make four copies of it. One for you, one for Kunle, one for Femi, one for me, and the original is for the station.

We can now see Tega.

TEGA (at attention)

Yes, sir.

Tega walks towards the desk and claims the file. Kunle is a few paces behind Tega.

AYAKPAT

(to Tega and Kunle)

You two will spend your nights in a patrol van in front of Femi’s house. Chioma will be staying at Femi’s place until we arrest Uche. You two will be Femi’s eyes on the outside, watching everything that moves and breathes.

Tega and Kunle doesn’t seem to embrace the new routine.

AYAKPAT (CONT’D)

Understood?

The Officers are at attention.

TEGA

Yes, sir!

KUNLE (simultaneously)

Yes, sir!
