Harry Stevens, ex-Australian SAS Major, is sailing his catamaran around Australia with Jasper, his rather special, and very large black cat. In the small town of Eden, he agrees to assist an abused wife and her two teenage daughters, who is on the run from her deranged husband. Huge resources are thrown at the search for the ladies, including a small army of seriously bad guys. Constantly on the run, Harry is forced to fall back on his resourcefulness and military training to stay one step ahead of an increasingly desperate foe who will stop at nothing to get the girls back, and shows that there is no limit to human greed, lust and depravity.
