Chapter 21

In her report to Jason, Cheryl was meticulous. The inner and outer refurbishing of the house’s walls were complete. The electrical refurbishing was also complete. The air-conditioning and the renewable energy systems were also installed and operational. The installation of the new garage doors was finished.

Daily the team involved in constructing the required landscaping was hard at work. The grounds were beginning to take shape. There was a sort of a mini park with waist high shrubbery. It lent a private feel. There was a gazebo, a swing for two, two hammocks, a bench and two Adirondack chairs. A table was missing.

The space for the organic garden was in place but unplanted. It also had irrigation in place as well as a little hedge. In between the mounds was grass which was trimmed. It looked good. There was also room left where the tank could be placed. He would leave that up to Cheryl.
