Chapter 50
The next morning Raquel arrived at work all confident and happy. She smiled sweetly all day determined to make an influence on all who she met that day. When Cheryl arrived at the office she noticed Raquel’s joyful mood.
“Good morning Raquel. Seems like you are extra happy today.”
“Oh yes I am Cheryl. I am feeling just fine and energized. What’s on the cards for today?”
“Did you get a chance to look at all of the samples I sent you for our new corporate identity?”
“You did? I have not even got around to that. Hmmmm!! Give a couple of minutes girl. Let’s see. Ahhh!!! Fantastic. I like them all. Wow this is stunning. Hold on.”
Raquel dialed Jason on her mobile. When he answered, she said, “Honey can you come over right away to R-Grafix? I have something most fantastic to show you.”
“Ok I’ll be there. Raquel did a little jig while Cheryl smiled.
Huffing and puffing Jason entered the office.
“Yes honey I am here.” He greeted Cheryl and gave his wife a hug and a kiss.
“Not now baby. Look at these. Don’t you think that they are fabulous?”
“They are great. Hmmm!! I see you have had a new inspiration. I happy you are focused.”
“Not me love. All of this is Cheryl’s work. And she didn’t even have a hint of what to do from my end. I think it is just fantastic. I can see we have a good start as a team.”
“Oh wow. Thank you Cheryl!”
“You are welcome.”
“I like all of this new signage. Now we have to get it out to the public as soon as we can.”
“Oh we’ve covered that already. We will be surprising you from next week. Beautiful signs, billboards, flyers, business cards and a portfolio to make any potential clients smile. Many will be coming our way soon. We may even have to expand the office and hire more soon, the way I see it.”
“Sure honey. Whatever you need. Now get back to work and have a good day. I have a foundational charity meeting to attend this morning. The Hopewell and Vision of Hope Charities. I will tell you all I can when I return. If you need me call.”
“Thanks my dear. Have a great day and stay safe.”
