And we fill our cup...Bottoms Up
To the ones we lost...Bottoms Up
To the ones we left...Bottoms Up
To the ones we loved...Bottoms Up
Until our cup overflows...it's Bottoms Up
To the friend's that we lost along the way
For all the trials and tribulations that came our way
We ran from the state and we fell from grace
We still raised our cups and gave thanks for the chase
It's my time now a celebrations for my plans now
For the memories we made that we couldn't share
Clinked our glasses and screamed life's not fair
No good byes and no shared tears
Thanking you for all those years
We stick to our guns we followed this road
And this drink is for the life that didn't unfold
Bottoms Up
And we fill our cup...Bottoms Up
To the ones we lost...Bottoms Up
To the ones we left...Bottoms Up
To the ones we loved...Bottoms Up
Until our cup overflows...it's Bottoms Up
To the friends that we left along the way
In pursuit of our dreams and brighter days
No burden you made no weight on my back
Moving forward no collapse light a candle for the past
We'll raise the flag to half staff remember the hurdles we surpassed
Smashed the walls that stood in our way
Smashed to forget the pain of yesterday
To live the life that we thought was only fantasy
Fantasy to dream and every dream a fantasy
The future is something we thought we'd never see
I had to leave you behind to make it happen and carry the memento of us laughing
Of all the joy and pain the troubled days washed in the rain
So let's raise our cup to those we left and all the memories that we kept
Bottoms Up
And we fill our cup...Bottoms Up
To the ones we lost...Bottoms Up
To the ones we left...Bottoms Up
To the ones we loved...Bottoms Up
Until our cup overflows...it's Bottoms Up
To the ones we loved along the way
Love is feeling deep in your heart it pains your soul when we're apart
Lose of a friend at the thought of not seeing them again
No matter what road or we're we go your face is a face I'll always know
A recognition clear like a premonition unfinished nor diminished
By time or the absence of Fate's last glimmer on a golden lake made to shimmer
I'll see you on the other side and talk about the hurt we felt inside
So save me a smoke and a drink to mess you up
We got a lot of catchin’ up and even though we are apart
Know that you were always in my heart
So one last time let's raise them up
Drink deep again and again cursing time for taking a friend
The End
