station wasn't well kept and the lights flickered. It wasn't the main station but it was the one closest to her home.

She could hear the bells of the docks sounding in the not so distant distance. She was always told that the docks are no place for a lady after sunset, so when she got off the train on her late nights she always kept her eyes forward or down and away from stirring away to the docks. Her step was neither slow nor quick, it was steady.

After the day's events she arrived with a nervous tension in her belly and was really looking forward to getting home and relaxing. It was a ten minute walk from the station to her apartment but this time it felt like it was taking ages for her to reach. She looked at her phone, it was 3:22am and she knew she had at least another eight minutes to get to her apartment. As she walked, she was trying her best not to hurry but the nervous tension was rising and she could feel that there was something wrong.
