she just continued walking. Her headsets were dangling over her ears and she could hear the song playing, it was a classic.

Please don't let me die listening to this song, she

thought to herself. She was so sure that there was trouble waiting for her that she didn't notice the open door on the other side of the road. As she passed the Fiat, voices came from the building with the open door, she swung her head round to see if anyone had left the building but no one appeared to. "You were in charge of the whole transaction and now two of our guys are either dead or dying," shouted one of the voices.

"Well, why don't we go find out? It's not like there's anyone there and besides, it'll be your head on the stick if it reaches the boss."

"I can't believe you even have the balls to bring up who's got immunity and who doesn't. Don't tempt me boy!" There was a moment of silence, Irene walked silently and quickly across the road.
