Scotty got out of bed the next morning and went to clean up. He was excited that he and his friends were travelling together. The trip was the longest he had been on but definitely not the last. The shower was quick and soon he was all packed and ready to leave.

He glanced at his watch, it was 4:45am and the station was only a fifteen minute walk from his apartment. He got his luggage and stepped out of his room. A little further down the hall Fidel was fast asleep. Scotty knocked loudly.

"Scotty, is that you?" Asked Fidel in a very dull voice. "No, it's the tooth fairy." Scotty was in a good mood and could afford to tease his house mate on his way out.

"What you still doing here, scared of the dark?" Fidel knew Scotty was saying farewell, the sarcasm had to be missed.

"You wish," Scotty was pleased Fidel wasn't being blunt. That usually meant he was pushing the wrong buttons. "I'm heading out man. Take it easy."
