Not only as an artist but his entire life has been in the sight of so many of these people. Now, he was about to perform for them. He was about to show them what their support and criticism has produced. His biggest fear at this point wasn't making a mistake in front of the crowd, it was that his work wasn't going to live up to the standard expected of him.
