Book Description
The Pitcairn Perspectives is a novel about modern surveillance. The surveillance described is on behalf of a mixture of state and private interests, but it is probably carried out by a contractor, who throughout, remains unidentified. The novel places the reader in the role of assessing the effectiveness of this surveillance project from the point of view of those who commissioned it. The book presents a series of documents, authored by different people, some of whom are characters in the story. Via these disparate perspectives, the reader can conclude who is doing the watching, and for what reason.
