(ASPARAGUS BACON BUNDLES)

 

 Ingredients

 

  • 2 pounds Fresh Asparagus, trimmed ends
  • 12 slices Bacon
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Light soya sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Pepper

 

 Directions:

 

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.

 2. Divide the asparagus into bundles of 12.

 3. Wrap 1 piece of bacon around each bundle and secure the bacon wrapped bundle with a toothpick.

 4. Lay the bundles in a low side casserole dish.

 5. In a medium saucepan. Add in butter, brown sugar, light soya sauce, salt and pepper.

 6. Bring the mixture to boil.

 7. Pour the hot mixture over the asparagus bundles in the casserole dish.

 8. Transfer the dish to the oven and roast until fully cooked, about 25 minutes.

 9. Remove toothpicks before serving.
