When God Almighty created human beings He blessed them with many special powers and specific strengths. Two of them that are absolutely necessary for proper human life management for every individual are the power of knowledge and the strength of wealth.
Traditionally the people of Arya Sanatan Faith know and pray to the Goddess of Knowledge who is known as Saraswati. Those of us who pursue her, love her and pray to ask her to give us her full attention are certainly blessed with the needed power of knowledge.
Then from the same traditional belief we know that there is the other Goddess who is known as Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth and Light. It is believed that those of us, who pursue her, love her and pray to ask her to give us her full attention would certainly be blessed with great wealth and enlightenment.
Both these Divine Powers are equally vital for good, truthful and beautiful human development and existence to increase our knowledge, wealth and wisdom to bring about the needed light and brightness to our life and keep any confronting darkness from setting in our life.
While both these Divine Powers are absolutely necessary for all of us they are known to be in competition with each other. It is said that when we pay more attention to Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge Lakshmi the Goddess of Wealth has the tendency to become somewhat jealous and begins to pay a lot more attention to us. The belief is that the more we seek the Goddess of Knowledge, the more the Goddess of Wealth would listen and assist us.
In this competitive divine conduct the benefactors are always the human beings. Both the needed divine agents of strengths and powers will grant us whatever we want and need, follow us wherever we go and would never leave us. It is believed that the necessary wealth and knowledge that we require and desire gradually becomes ours forever.
Thus every human being has the ability, capability, aptitude and capacity of acquiring the needed and desired knowledge, wisdom, wealth and affluence in order to be able to create a meaningful and worthy life that is self-sufficient and desirable.
Therefore, I believe that while affluence is necessary to live well, knowledge of various kinds is vital to maintain healthy, wealthy and wise human life. Competition of these two elements, namely knowledge and wealth would always make us lead a good, truthful and beautiful human living.
