Contingent upon the size of your avocados, this wanton dish could be a filling nibble or a light lunch. It's entirely adequate to utilize frozen crab in case new isn't accessible, however, take care to search for genuine crab meat instead of less expensive impersonation items. In the case of utilizing frozen crab, defrost it totally and press out any additional fluid with the goal that your serving of mixed greens isn't soaked.

1 avocado, stripped, split the long way, and pitted

½ teaspoon newly pressed lemon juice 4½ ounces Dungeness crabmeat

½ cup cream cheddar

¼ cup hacked red ringer pepper

¼ cup hacked, stripped English cucumber

½ scallion, hacked

1 teaspoon hacked cilantro Pinch ocean salt

Newly ground dark pepper

  1. Brush the cut edges of the avocado with the lemon squeeze and put the parts to the side on a plate.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the crabmeat, cream cheddar, red pepper, cucumber, scallion, cilantro, salt, and pepper until all around blended.
  3. Divide the crab blend between the avocado parts and store them, covered with saran wrap, in the fridge until you need to serve them, as long as 2 days.

A CLOSER LOOK Dungeness crab is in season from about December to April; this is the best time period to buy this sweet scavenger. The Seafood Watch rates Dungeness crab as manageable fish.
